Beer with three or less percent alcohol is considered light beer according to Slovenian regulations. But achieving a beer with a lower alcohol content that is not watered down is not easy. That is why we set ourselves the goal of achieving all these standards. The challenge was how to satisfy the demanding palates of real beer lovers and meet the legislation and, ultimately, the demands of modern man.

Relaxm is a light craft beer with a low alcohol content and still the full flavor we expect from a craft beer. Heavily hopped with Relax and Enigma hops. In addition to barley malt, the rich flavor of Relax is also shaped by oat and rye flakes. For the beer style, we chose the popular amber-colored pale ale, but in a smaller version - micro pale ale.

Relax hops were originally developed for use in relaxation teas. We have repurposed them for the big global "small beer" trend.

What does it mean if beers are top or bottom fermented?

Top fermentation is most often associated with ale-type beers. It is a method of alcoholic fermentation that occurs in beer when active yeasts rise to the surface of the wort and form a crown (a kind of yeast foam) on it. The yeast is predominantly Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, which is colloquially called ale yeast. Such yeasts prefer higher fermentation temperatures, approximately 15 to 25 degrees.

The opposite is true for bottom-fermenting yeasts, which are associated with lager-type beers. This fermentation takes place at the bottom of the container. It is predominantly Saccharomyces Pastorianus yeast, or lager yeast. Such yeasts prefer lower fermentation temperatures, around 5 to 10 degrees.
