The beginnings of Pislak Bali Beekeeping date back to 1946, when Janko Pislak, a legendary Slovenian beekeeper, started beekeeping with one bee colony in a woven basket. Since then, beekeeping has constantly developed and, with great respect for nature and bees, has improved good beekeeping practice, as well as the quality of the bee products obtained. We are the largest beekeeping in Slovenia, and we beekeep mainly in the Haloze, Pohorje and Prekmurje regions. We produce top-quality honey, royal jelly, propolis, pollen and wax, and breed high-quality queen bees of the indigenous Slovenian breed Kranjska sivka. We are committed to preserving beekeeping heritage and sustainable beekeeping, which means being friendly to nature and bees. We build customer trust with the quality of our products, nature- and bee-friendly production in the local environment. Caring for bees is key, as they are extremely important pollinators, so we try to plant as many honey plants as possible and encourage others to do the same.
