Chicken fillets with honey-apple sauce
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken fillets (about 600 g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 30 ml of olive oil from Butul Farm
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 60 ml apple cider vinegar
- 30 g of mango honey with pomegranate
- 15 g mustard
- 5 g chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions:
1. Season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper to taste.
2. Heat the Domačija Butul olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken fillets and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until cooked through. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
3. In the same pan, add the chopped garlic and fry until fragrant.
4. Add the apple cider vinegar to the pan and stir with a spoon to scrape up the brown bits from the bottom.
5. In a small bowl, mix the mango honey, mustard, and chopped rosemary. Add this mixture to the pan with the vinegar and garlic, stirring until the sauce thickens.
6. Return the chicken fillets to the pan and pour the sauce over them. Cook for a few more minutes until the fillets are heated through and the sauce coats the meat well.
7. Serve the chicken fillets on plates, pour over the remaining sauce from the pan and garnish with lemon slices. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious taste of chicken with honey-apple sauce!
