They contain vitamins A, B1 and B2. They also contain potassium, sodium, manganese, calcium, iron and phosphorus. Folk tradition says that eating fig leaves and drinking tea from fig leaves has health benefits. These days, we are quite busy with them. Some of them go into jars to ferment. Later, they can be used for so-called sarmice, which can be filled with meat or some kind of pulp. Some of them go into the tea dryer. One large portion went into a large pot on the stove. It turned out, to our taste, one of the best syrups we have ever made.
